Thank you for your interest in our holiday apartment. Protecting your data matters to us. This policy explains which personal data is processed when you visit this website, in accordance with the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the Austrian Data Protection Act (DSG). The German version is legally binding.

No cookies, no tracking

This website does not set cookies for analytics or advertising and does not use tracking services that follow you across websites. Only if you choose to show the Google reviews do we remember that choice in your browser's local storage so you are not asked again.

Hosting and server logs

This website is served by Cloudflare, Inc. (101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA). When you visit, Cloudflare processes technically necessary data such as IP address, date and time, the page requested and browser type, in order to deliver the website and protect it against attacks. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in secure and stable operation (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Cloudflare is certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.

Visitor statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how our website is used (e.g. number of page views). No cookies are set and no profiles are created; data is evaluated in aggregate without recognising individual visitors. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contact form and email

If you write to us via the contact form or by email, we process your details (name, email address, phone number if given, travel dates, number of guests and message) to answer your enquiry (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR). The form is delivered to our mailbox via the Web3Forms service. Our email is handled by Google Workspace (Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland). We delete enquiries once they have been dealt with, unless statutory retention obligations apply.

Booking and rates (Multikalender)

For the rate list, availability calendar and online booking we use the Multikalender service. When you open the “Rates & Booking” page, your browser connects to Multikalender's servers, which transmits your IP address. Data you enter when booking is processed to perform the rental contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).

Google reviews (Elfsight)

We display our guests' reviews using a widget from Elfsight LLC. It only loads when you click “Show Google reviews”. Your IP address and technical browser data are then transmitted to Elfsight and possibly Google, including to the USA. The legal basis is your consent by clicking (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR), which you can withdraw at any time by clearing your browser's local storage for this website.

Links to Google Maps, Apple Maps, Booking.com and local attractions open those providers' websites; their privacy policies apply from that point.

Fonts

The fonts used are loaded from our own server. No connection to Google Fonts is made.

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. Please contact us at the email address above. If you believe the processing of your data violates data-protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (Barichgasse 40–42, 1030 Vienna, www.dsb.gv.at).
